What we collect

The Service uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how it is used, in aggregate. GA4 uses cookies and collects information such as:

• Which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and where you came from
• Approximate region, and your browser, OS, device type and screen size
• Actions taken inside the Service, such as selecting a practice mode, starting and stopping playback, and changing the tempo

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by the company that hosts the Service. It uses no cookies, and records page views, visitor counts, referrers and approximate region in aggregate. No identifier that would follow an individual visitor over time is stored.

All of this is statistical. We do not collect personally identifying information such as names, addresses or email addresses. The Service requires no account and no login, and there is nowhere in it for you to enter personal information.

How we use it

• To see which exercises and modes get used, so we can improve the practice content
• To find screens that are hard to use, or where people give up, so we can make them better
• To understand usage of the Service in aggregate

We do not use this information for any other purpose, and we do not sell or provide it to third parties.

Cookies and opting out

You can delete or block the cookies GA4 uses from your browser settings at any time. You can also install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which stops data being sent to GA4 from every site, including this one. Vercel Web Analytics uses no cookies, so your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop it. Either way, the practice features of the Service keep working exactly as before.

Sending data to outside services

Apart from Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics as described above, the Service does not send what you do to anyone. Playback, tempo changes and transposition are all handled on your own device, inside the browser. There is no feature that uses your microphone, and nothing records or transmits your singing.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as laws change or as features are added to the Service. Any revision will be posted on this page.
